An air conditioner running all the time can have several causes including being low on refrigerant (freon). Its important to have your freon level tested by a qualified technician and to find the source of the leak if indeed it is low. Continuing operation could damage the compressor because it over heats due to low refrigerant.

Clogged condensate drains are a common cause of water leaking from your air conditioner. Freezing coils during operation could also cause water leaking around the furnace from the evaporator coil at the indoor unit. We recommend clearing the condensate drain line before the start of every season.
