Extended run time

When your System is running all the time can have several causes including being low on refrigerant (freon). You may notice at the thermostat that your auxiliary heat (Emergency heat) indicator is on more than normal. Its important to have your freon level tested by a qualified technician and to find the source of the leak if indeed it is low. Continuing to run the system could cause damage to the compressor.

Leaking Water

Clogged condensate drains are a common cause of water leaking from your air conditioner. Freezing coils during operation could also cause water leaking around the furnace from the evaporator coil at the indoor unit. We recommend clearing the condensate drain line before the start of every season.

System Noises

A buzzing noise at the Outside unit is very common when there is an electrical issue with the compressor.

A loud noise coming from the air handler fan can be an indication of a bad blower motor.

Ice
